Facility Use

The school is an integral part of the community in terms of its intellectual and social expression and development. To this end, the Siren Board of Eduction encourages the public use of school facilities within Board Policy guidelines, when they are not being used for district curricular and extra curricular activities. The Siren Board of Education, in recognizing the community school concept, may allow the use of school facilities by community organizations.

About Our School

The Siren School District covers approximately 106 square miles. The school building contains the PreK-6 elementary school, 7-8 junior high, and 9-12 high school. During the 1999-2000 school year, 54,000 square feet were added to the building, including 16 elementary classrooms, band and choir rooms, a kitchen, commons area, and a 400-seat auditorium. Other parts of the building were extensively renovated.
