If you have any questions or concerns about the newsletter, or would like to be added to the mailing list, please contact Mrs. Proctor by phone at 715-349-2277 ext. 208 or by email at eproctor@siren.k12.wi.us

The district newsletter, The Dragon Talk, is an important communications tool for the district and people within it. The newsletter was taken over by the Publications class in 2001-2002, and then by the Jounalism class of 2010-2011. The newsletter used to be a small newsletter that was produced by the Elementary office. We printed, collated, and labled in house in an assembly line fashion. We now have new ways of doing so. The newsletter is printed and collated outside of the school and bulk-mailed to everyone in the district. Lakeland Press printed the newsletter and handled the delivery to the post office for several years until they went out of business in 2005-2006. Since 2006-2007 the Inter County Cooperative Publishing Co. has been fulfulling our printing needs. We also label and send newsletters to parents who live out of the district, retired teachers and others who request it.

**The Dragon Talk staff is taking some time off to better the publication. Sorry for the inconvenience this may cause. We plan on producing a new and improved publication by the end of this school year. **

During Journalism we devote our class time to make the Dragon Talk Newsletter filled with all of the need to know activites that are going on in our school.

2012 - 2013

Stories for the newsletter are a combination of teacher, administration and student submitted articles. Student editors handle much of the proofreading, editing and format decisions for the newsletter with guidance from the advisor, Mrs. Beth Proctor.
