The Library Club is not just for the love of books! Yes, we talk about and buy books. Yes, we promote reading and we help keep the library organized. But we have other interests, too. We take part in events such as the Burnett County Chalk Art Competition, the collection of goods for Ruby’s Pantry, the Crayola Marker Recycling program, and the Scholastic Book Fair. Our annual field trip is taken in the spring to shop for books for the high school shelves. We also work within our school community to “promote kindness as an every day norm” through participation with the RAK Organization (Random Acts of Kindness). We welcome all students who have a desire to have a voice in the growth of our school library and make an impact in our community.
