    Dear Families,

The Siren School District continues to navigate through the COVID pandemic. As such, we want to make sure all of our students and staff are safe. As per our plan, in-person instruction is our main objective. On Monday, January 4th we will continue our Tier 1 - In-Person Learning with Enhancements Model for all students in grades 4K-12. Each building principal is available to answer questions to ensure you know what to expect and how to best support your child’s learning during this time.

As indicated in our back to school plan, Tier 1, is instruction that is delivered in the classroom with an emphasis on the use of technology. Please refer to page eight (8) of the Siren School District Back to School Plan. Food service will offer student meals to those who are continuing remote learning. Please contact Tiffany Battisti with any questions.

Beginning on January 4th, Winter Athletics will continue to practice. Coaches may be in contact with students and parents for practice details and times.

    January 4 Tier 1 In-Person Learning all grades 4K-12
January 4 Athletic Practices as Scheduled.

The symptoms of COVID-19 are similar to the regular seasonal influenza and include fever, coughing, and shortness of breath. Some have reported additional symptoms, such as a runny nose, sore throat, nausea, lethargy, lack of appetite, vomiting, and diarrhea.

Individuals who need medical care should call their medical provider to report their illness prior to seeking care at a clinic, physician’s office, or hospital. Parents of students exhibiting flu-like symptoms or staff exhibiting flu-like symptoms are asked to contact a school nurse, local health authorities or the Burnett County Department of Health.
