  • Hello Siren Families,

As we know, the Wisconsin Supreme Court voted to overturn the Governor’s mask mandate on Wednesday.

The Siren School Board approved Back to School Plan (COVID Response Plan) currently remains in effect. Any changes to our plan, including the wearing masks, will require action by the Board of Education. This item will be on the next agenda, where they will review the status of the COVID situation and take action as necessary.

The current policy allows the school district to continue to operate in the same manner we have since the start of the school year by applying the COVID mitigation and prevention efforts necessary and recommended by state and federal agencies. Our primary goal is to keep everyone as safe as possible by preventing the spread of COVID in our schools. We are proud to have been able to keep our schools open and operating as close to normal as possible while keeping the health and safety of our students, staff, and community our top priority.

    Thank you and stay safe.
